Second aspect of the issue

Rumored by Michigan State University students Hagadorn Road is considered to be a rape trail. Students on campus primarily females are uncomfortable with walking down the trail at night, even when in groups. Tamia Boyd another sophomore here at MSU said she I irritated with the university for not addressing the issue. Boyd said, “I lived in Akers hall last school year and to get to the one bus stop faster I would have to walk down Hagadorn Road. It would be very dark, the only lights really showing would be car lights.” Boyd now lives in Brody neighborhood . So now she can hop on the one bus, which is actually right outside her dorm, and Boyd said she feels way safer.

First aspect of the issue

Rumored by Michigan State University students Hagadorn Road is considered to be a rape trail. Students on campus primarily females are uncomfortable with walking down the trail at night, even when in groups. Mariah Saffold a sophomore here at Michigan State University is staying in Hubbard hall for a second semester and is still uncomfortable staying right by Hagadorn. Saffold said, “When it gets dark I try my hardest to find a ride to where ever I need to go to avoid walking down Hagadorn. It’s dark and scary, and when I heard everyone say it was called rape trail I was even more concerned about my safety.” Saffold is planning to move to a different neighborhood for the 2018-19 school year here at Michigan State.
